It was hot, for one thing. Very very very hot. And the haze came back. I didn't do much coding this week. I did wrote a simple PHP-based expense tracker that I'm using to keep track of my daily expenses. It is still in pre-beta mode though. Other than that, the week was spent running around - meetings and more meetings, presentations, hacking demo, and more running around.

Several things have been delayed, namely the launch of the new site for my-gentoo, and server migration for hackinthebox. Besides this, there's the upcoming Bellua Cyber Security Asia 2005 where once again, the HITB crew will be the Capture the Flag Game (CtF) overlords.

After a nice Chinese New Year break we are pleased to bring you Issue #36 of the HITB e-zine. This is a pretty interesting issue with an exclusive article on Red Hat PIE Protection written by Zarul Shahrin as well as an article on building a simple wireless authenticated gateway using OpenBSD by Rosli Sukri (member of the HITB CTF Crew). I am also pleased to announce that the Bit Torrent videos of the entire 2 days of HITBSecConf2004 will be made available on Monday March 7th 2005! Due to my own retardation, I forgot to backup my index.php hence I am now stuck with this default theme. Which basically means that my blog look like other people's blog. Gah!!! It's not bad, but now I need to check wether I have the backup at home.

Update: There's no anti-spam integrated into wordpress-1.5. Users need to install their own anti-spam plugin. Downer.

I'm sorry to tell you all this, but Bush is way up there with Clinton on my list of favorite American presidents. I mean, he's just so fun, and cute. I've posted more pictures of Bush than Siti Nurhaliza on my blog... oh wait, I didn't have any pictures of Siti, nevermind. But Bush, he just is.
