rotating between

blackalicious,

black sabbath, and
clap your hands say yeah can be quite ataxic to my brain. after say, a hundred lines of codes, my brain just stop working, and i get desperately sleepy. no amount of coffee can revive the motor works of my brain, after being subject to hours of mishmash from the different genres: metal, hip-hop, trip-hop, indie pop, indie rock and techno. just imagine if there's a band that sounds like a cross between snoop-dogg and rammstein. that will be terrible to endure.
on another note, i think i'm quite done with
PHP. i guess it's time to move on to another programming language. question is, which language?
on the b-side, making mix tape is just plain time consuming. i wish that someone would pay me to just listen to records. or maybe become a radio dj. i'm sick and tired of the intarweb. talking about mix tapes (or cd) i got one in the mail today! yay! now, this is the first mix cd that i've ever got from someone, so it's cool! so to whoever that mailed it to me (you know who you are), thanks a bunch. nice color choice for a cd though.
on another note, i'm struggling to finish up a mix tape for a friend. and it was tough cause, well, i've got so many records from so many genres to choose from, and for each artist, there's always two tracks that scream
me! me! me! me! me! that explains why i've been listening to a lot of tracks for the past few weeks. anyways, the process is simple though time consuming: rummage through my hard disk and cds for the desired tracks; dump them into a directory; listen to them one by one; remove the tracks that do not sound fit, listen again, remove, listen; arrange according to the desired listening order; remove tracks that sound off; listen; remove, listen, arrange, ad infinitum.
so far the neighbors have not complained yet, and that is good. if they do, i'll give them the f*ck you look. or i'll pretend that i'm deaf and mute.
making mix tape also forces me to really listen to a song, and that can be quite taxing sometimes if you've been listening to the same track over and over. but then again music is my solace, besides the alcohol.
orait, i'm gonna go scratch my balls and pick my nose now.
