Hey.. Don't have a cow dude.. You missed the context about your earlier post about how much $$$ ppl who are just starting to work gets paid. Like RM2000/mth.
So, unless the company they're working with actually forks out that money, it's still a lot of money. The recent Linuxworld San Francisco, the Platimun Pass costs USD1195 for the whole she-bang. But then again, it's apples vs oranges. RM450 just for the conference is like RM200 more than last years' (IIRC). All I'm saying is, some people may have the budget, but frankly, I do not. (however much I would like to attend) And No, that does not say that we do not appreciate the work being poured into organising this. We Do. As the saying goes.. The heart is willing, but the wallet is empty. ..Peace..
