updates:
- busy busy busy these days. i've been doing the following, in no particular order, for the past few weeks: hacking/pen-testing, writing reports, preparing for for HITBSecConf2007 Dubai training, the capture the flag game, doing forensics (so how do you find that one piece of evidence in gigabytes of emails?), sys-admin work, PHP coding, and being a bum
- watched pan's labyrinth. awesome. i'm always a fan of fairy tales (pan's labyrinth ain't a fairy-tale), but not the ones narrated by shelly duvall - hell no! - those are, in the words of simon cowell, out-tro-ceass!. i mean, take the red riding hood - can someone be so stupid to not recognize their own grandmother? as as a kid, i found that intellectually insulting. but pan's labyrinth is almost real, and that is scary. and i wished it was real.
- i haven't listened to anything new since the new year. and that really sucks. itunes have been set to random mode, and interestingly it's random mode is more random than amarok's. i didn't realize that i have gems such as is you is or is you ain't my baby by louis jordan. so that is cool and i'm gonna let itunes on random mode for a while.
- last week was spent in the boondocks of nowhere (don't ask), this week was work and more work, next week will be in sillypore for another pen-test gig, followed by dubai. so no futsal and squash for the next two weeks.
- oh yeah just in case you don't know - i purchased a macbook about a month ago and it was money well-spent. interestingly i've been spending shit lots of money on gadgetry that i don't use only to end-up selling them off.
so, no updates till may then. ciao.
