Picked this up from Pick Yin, whose having dilemma over wether she's going to be a programmer for life or not. I certainly will be, but not in a full-time capacity. But nevertheless, I quote "The two greatest gurus of software development in Malaysia, Ralph Tee and Marcus Low will address your concerns about the career path of a programmer." Pardon my ignorance, but can somebody enlighten me as to whom these two local gurus are? I've never heard of them, read their articles, or even stumbled upon their websites. (And oh yeah, at the time of posting, I haven't Googled them either).

And oh yeah - all of the things that I've learned about the career path of a programmer, I've learned it for the past 4 years as I jumped from one position to another - system administrator, web developer, consultant, system architect+software engineer, senior system administrator, and yeah - my nights as a 'software mechanic'.
