off to watch jewel in the palace of whatever crap that is...

so my prediction for the last eight was pretty much accurate except for heineken (the sole reason why i ordered tiger @ laundrybar tonight): argentina, germany, england, brazil, ukraine (well, whatever), italy (forzo azzurri!), portugal (how dare you cheat against heineken!) and spain (yeah the game's in two hours time but what the heck they gonna beat the ass out of brazil).

update: spain fecked up big time. bugger! so, six of the eight teams have won the world cup before. does this mean a) they're good and deserve their place in the last eight b) fifa wants them to go to the last eight c) the referees' decisions in some of the matches favors the big teams d) the smaller teams aren't good enough? you decide.

aight, i have nothing to write except:

1. it's been hot. the weather, i mean.
2. i almost ran a red light, banged into a car, all in the space of 30 minutes. all is not right.
3. sleeping pattern has been pretty much fecked up.
4. alphaD and meggiO left for shanghai, (and sze's leaving for budapest this friday) which mean the l***** c**** and ... i'm gonna watch the rest of the matches al-fecking-lone. thanks, guys.
5. al gore really did invent the internet.
