sometimes, when viewed from a different context, these things can be damn funny, if not, daft.
- going back from a midnight libation one friday, i watched a girl (good looking, sober (maybe)) repeatedly trying to push the parking ticket into the yellow auto-pay machine. except that she was trying to insert the parking ticket into the cash slot. so i said "you're supposed to insert it here.", politely pointing to the proper slot, holding myself from sneering. and she said "sorrysorrysorrysorry" probably 67 times, the way the japanese do, as if she had inadvertently stepped on my toe or brushed off my toupee (not that i am wearing one), with a blush. except that she didn't insert the parking ticket all the way in, and the machine rejected her one ringgit note due to this. so i said, ever-smiling, "it's not in yet". and she said "sorrysorrysorrysorry" probably another 68 times, as if i was a royalty (the brunei royal family came to mind), this time with a more obvious blush than the first. heh.
- i was peering down from the 86th floor of the petronas twin towers when the fuel hike protest took place. the first thing on my mind was "what the feck is that bunch of people rallying about in the freaking hot weather?"
someotherthings:
- two weeks ago i suffered dementia, memory loss, and random streaks of insanity and madness. now i'm sick again. sighs. yeah i know. i'm such a cry baby.
- i listen to collective soul years ago. listening to them again was, heh, kinda cool, cause they were so popular back then and had some catchy tunes, even better and catchier than, ugh, fort minor (yea that's the kind of crap we get here in malaysia. i mean, kings of convenience played in sillypore and we had, fort minor?).
- in as much as i hate working in the weekends, i don't have much choice. the fuel hike really put a bummer in many faces. crap.
