Software Programmers (2 positions)

Responsibilities

• Participate in development, testing and maintenance of software application.


• Liaise with business unit to understand the business requirements and provide solutions.


• Coordinate with team members for design, development, implementation and maintenance of software application.

Requirements

• The candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.


• Excellent problem solving skills.


• Highly motivated and enjoy software development.


• At least 2 years experience in coding.


• Solid experience in HTML, XML, CSS, Apache, MySQL/and or Postgresql, Linux, PHP, and any of the following: Perl, Python and Ruby.


• Candidates must be familiar with Open Source technologies.


• Familiarity and knowledge of networking is an added advantage.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong planning, organizational and time management skills.


• Candidates must be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
