In marketing, thats repackaging. Even McDonald does it
mac, so looking at micro level, by the principal of deduction, this means that kuchingites (or pussies if you prefer it that way) are generally less affluent than say, their counterparts in KL/PJ, because there is only ONE mcdonald's in the whole of kuching, as opposed to say, TWO mcdonald's within 100 meters of each other in petaling street?
there is NOT just one mcdonald's in all of kuching.
the mcdonald's index thing is cool - purchasing power parity deduced from the price of big macs - it's done by the economist i think. if it makes you feel better, the price of my monthly travel pass goes up by 10% every 6 months. and the price of an ipod is, not 50, not 100, but bloody 140 dollars more here than in the states.
roti canai still same price at two mamaks last time i checked, but they look thinner now...
Either the price has gone up or they ll make adjustments to the dish e.g: Cut the chicken in half, put less ingredients...sigh...Malaysia memang boleh
Ya and the Malaysian benchmark for whether prices have gone up is the price of Roti Canai...
