I write when I feel like it. I write whatever I like to write
about. I write because it is the easiest way to break all the rules. Poetry
breaks the formality of conversations. Poetry breaks the all the values of
friendship. Poetry does not care about the virtue of love and sex. Poetry does
not care about the sanctity of religions or personal beliefs. Poetry expresses
the inexpressible. Poetry takes away what is dear to you and smashes it to
pieces. Poetry steals from your eyes, ears, fingers, head and tongue. Poetry is
honest and unmerciful.
At least my poems are. And those are my poetry. |
